Volunteer Enter and View Lead

Healthwatch Hillingdon is a volunteer-led organisation, and volunteering lies at the heart of all that we do. We appreciate and rely on the range of experiences and skills that all our volunteers bring to our organisation. We believe that by encouraging and enabling people to play a more active part in changing their communities, that together we can make a real difference.

The aim of Healthwatch Hillingdon’s Enter and View Programme is to carry out monitoring visits to provide an informed view of the quality and scope of health and adult social care services provided for the residents of Hillingdon, and to make recommendations for their improvement backed by evidenced based reports. Monitoring visits are carried out by “authorised” visitors, who have completed the training programme for visiting, and undergone a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.

The role of the Enter and View Lead will be to lead on Healthwatch Hillingdon’s Enter and View Programme. Supported by Healthwatch Hillingdon’s staff team they will be responsible for setting up and overseeing the delivery of the programme; building a team of “authorised” visitors; developing relationships with commissioners and providers; and submitting reports and recommendations on the outcomes of visits to the Healthwatch Hillingdon Board.

If you have a passion for working with people and a strong desire to improve the experiences of health and social care services for the adults, young people and children of Hillingdon, then this is a fantastic opportunity and we would be delighted to hear from you.
