It is with great sadness that we announce that Stephen Otter has stepped down as Chair and a Board Member of Healthwatch Hillingdon.

Stephen has been with usfrom the beginning and was a founding member of the Board. When he became Chair in March 2016, he introduced a new approach to the role. His leadership over the last 2 years has been refreshing and thoroughly embraced by the Board and Staff Team. Under Stephen's guidance and direction we have continued to grow and through the outcomes of our work, he has ensured that the voice of the public in Hillingdon is not only heard locally and in North West London, but is influencing service change nationally.

“On behalf of The Board and Staff Team I would like to say a big thank you to Stephen. He has worked tirelessly during his time as Chair to ensure the success of Healthwatch Hillingdon. It has been a great pleasure to work under his leadership and not only will he be  deeply missed, but will be an extremely hard act to follow.”

Graham Hawkes, Healthwatch Hillingdon CEO

We will be shortly going out to open recruitment for a new Chair and in the interim, Vice Chair, Turkay Mahmoud, will be acting as our Chair.
