Healthwatch Community Ambassadors 

Community ambassadors play an important role in helping us to raise awareness about the work of Healthwatch Hillingdon by representing us at local community events and telling people about the work we do. They also listen to what local people have to say about health and social care services and feed this back to us.

This role provides lots of flexibility and offers an excellent opportunity to meet new people and make a difference to health and social care.

Newsletter Editor

Our newsletter, Spotlight, is crucial in helping us to communicate what we do and to bring residents and other stakeholders the latest news on health and social care across Hillingdon. 

As an editor, you will produce our newsletter 4 times a year both electronically and in print. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about writing, highly organised and has in interest health and care.

Mystery shoppers

Mystery shoppers anonymously visit various health and social care services in Hillingdon to test how well they are doing and then feed their experiences back to us. Mystery shopping projects can be carried out over the phone or face-to-face with services such as pharmacies, GPs, dentists and mental health services.

If you have excellent observation skills, pay close attention to detail and have good written communication skills then this might be just the role for you.
