Young Healthwatch Hillingdon Podcast - COVID-19 Vaccines

Since the initial lockdown in 2020, COVID-19 and the related social restrictions have changed the way we interact with each other. In response to this, Young Healthwatch Hillingdon (YHwH) has adapted how it engages with young people to make sure they can still access health and wellbeing information and support. In addition to planned online engagement events with young people, YHwH decided to start recording podcasts about key health and wellbeing topics that are important to young people to ensure they have access to reliable information from reputable sources.

In the third of YHwH’s podcasts, YHwH members Dilpreet, Ishita, Ellie and Khadeeja spoke to Raman from Hillingdon's Stronger Communities Team, and Dr. Zaheer, an NHS GP based in Hayes, on the topic of COVID-19 Vaccines; including information about how COVID-19 vaccines work, it's benefits, and potential side effects.
