Children and Young People's mental health survey
According to NHS England in 2023, 1 in 5 children and young people had a probable mental health disorder. We would like to hear your thoughts and experiences around mental health.
Did you know that?
- Since 2015, the prevalence of young people reporting a mental health disorder has risen from approximately 1 in 6 to 1 in 4.
- In 2023, about 1 in 5 children and young people aged 8-25 had a probable mental disorder.
- 1 in 8 young people between 18 & 25, who identify as LGBTQIA+ have attempted to end their life
Therefore, we have created an online, anonymous survey where we want to understand:
- What negatively impacts the mental wellbeing of children and young people
- Where young people prefer to go for support
- What would encourage them to use services
- How they prefer to engage with services when they need them
- The level of satisfaction from using mental health services
We hope to hear from you and use these insights to shape recommendations to our partners across the Hillingdon borough to reduce health inequalities.
The survey is completely anonymous, and it only takes a few minutes to complete! Also, you may have the chance to win a gift card worth up to £25. The winners will be announced on September 30th. Please keep in mind that in order to enter the prize draw you need to provide us your contact details.
And don’t forget: Young voices count too!
