Our Enter and View visits are arranged to find out how health and social care services are being run, and make recommendations where there are areas for improvement.

Mental health has become one of the biggest challenges facing children and young people today, and those living in Hillingdon are no exception. Whether it’s school stress, bullying, or not knowing where to turn for support, too many young people are struggling with their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

In 2022-23, the NHS reported a total of 2850 detentions under the Mental Health Act across North-West London of those aged 18 years and over. This was the highest amongst all the London regions.
